This advocacy project addresses the pervasive issue of gender-based violence (GBV) targeting women during electoral processes in key rural areas of Abuja. Working in partnership with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the program aims to raise awareness, strengthen community monitoring, and promote protections for women voters and candidates in Kuje, Gwagwalada, Bwari, and Jabi Area Councils.

Through community dialogues, training of local election observers, and policy advocacy, the project seeks to reduce electoral violence and empower women to participate safely and fully in democratic processes.
